About MediTracker for General Practice
How does MediTracker work?
MediTracker works seamlessly behind-the-scenes. There is nothing the GP or practice needs to do to keep MediTracker records up to date.
Patient data is uploaded from your practice clinical software to the MediTracker cloud when a patient connects to your practice. This data is then downloaded to the MediTracker app. The medical record is automatically updated whenever the patient record is changed in your clinical software.
MediTracker is powered by Precedence Health Care’s Inca Coordinated Care Platform.
What is the Inca Integrated Care Platform?
Inca is an integrated care platform that securely connects providers and patients throughout the health system. It is the engine that powers MediTracker, ensuring secure connectivity among the GP, patient, and care team and managing their interactions with one another. It also provides a number of other application services for supporting coordinated team care, beyond MediTracker. For further information go to precedencehealthcare.com
Does MediTracker display documents from My Health Record?
Yes. MediTracker displays My Health Record documents. Users can view hospital and other documents from their My Health Record in MediTracker if:
- The user has a My Health Record and;
- Your practice has activated the MediTracker link to My Health Record.
MediTracker Support can assist your practice if your practice is not activated.
