How can I create a patient record in Inca?
There are two ways of creating a patient record in Inca
1. Create health record via Precedence Connector to Inca
You are required to have Precedence Connector installed on your computer first. Please check our install guides for details.
When a patient record is opened in your practice software, Precedence Connector detects the current active conditions that can be supported by Inca care plan, it alerts you and gives the option to create a record in Inca.
If the patient does not have an existing record, the menu action will display 'Create health record' and clicking this action to start the creation of the patient's health record.
If the patient already has a health record created, the menu action will display "Update health record".
Once Precedence Connector creates/updates the information, it takes you to the patient’s record in Inca where you can take further action.
2. Create health record directly in Inca
Precedence Connector currently supports five practice software applications: Best Practice, MedicalDirector Clinical, Zedmed, Communicare and Medtech32/Evo. If you are not using a practice software or your software is not compatible with Precedence Connector. You can manually create a health record in Inca.
- sign into Inca
- select Create Health Record
3. Complete all required fields and save the new health record for further action.
